Marriage contract of Qamar, the daughter of Mashhadi Muhammad ʻAli the warder, and Shaykh Muhammad Hasan, the son of Mulla Samiʻ, with a mahr of 100 tumans and some gold. The husband gave power of attorney to his wife to divorce herself after forgiving half of her mahr (or all of it, if he cannot afford it) in the fifty years after the marriage if, for six consecutive months, the husband does not pay her four tumans and five thousand [dinars] for monthly household expenses.

The mahr is 300 tumans and a gold ring worth 10 tumans. The marriage attorney is Muʻtamad al-Sultan Ibrahim Bayg.

Marriage contract of Khadijah Sultan, daughter of ‘Ali Muhammad the felt-maker, and Ustad Muhammad Naqi [or Muhammad Taqi] the hat-maker, son of Ustad Husayn the hat-maker. The mahr is twenty-six tumans and fifty shahis, which includes two hundred and sixty-two riyals, one Qurʼan worth one tuman, and two misqals [unit of weight] of goldware.

Marriage contract of Khavar Sultan Khanum and Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, 1910
Marriage contract of Khavar Sultan Khanum, the daughter of Aqa Muhammad Mahdi, and Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, the son of Haj Zayn al-‘Abidin. The mahr is a Qurʼan manuscript valued at five tumans, forty tumans cash, fifteen misqals of pure red gold, six mans [unit of weight] of copperware, carpets and rugs worth twenty five tumans, qalamkar bedding worth six tumans, some pieces of land and orchards, and a walnut tree. These were transferred from Haj Zayn al-‘Abidin to his son, Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, and then became part of the mahr. In August 1911, several testimonies concerning the mahr were added.

Marriage contract of Khadijah Khanum Afzal and Muhammad Baqir Khan Mallah, 1914
Marriage contract of Khadijah Khanum, known as Khanum Afzal, the daughter of [Bibi Khanum Astar Abadi and] Aqa Musa Khan Sartip Muhajir, and Muhammad Baqir Khan [Aqa Buzurg Mallah], the son of Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali Khan Astarabadi (the colonel, originally from Anzali). The mahr was 800 tumans, 200 tumans of which was received by the bride and the rest, in addition to some gold and a Qurʼan, was charged to the groom. Muhammad Baqir Khan transferred part of his land in Astarabad to Khadijah Khanum as the equivalent of the six hundred tumans of the mahr.
